Sliding one of the new 1 by 24 inch bolts through the truck components. The long bottom bar, now straight, is to have a very short radius bend made right where it exits each bolster pedestal. One can now visualize why the ends were removed from the old top bar, to give clearance for the new bottom bar to swing.
